A framed silkscreen printed word search is the ultimate gift for a loved one, for a wedding or anniversary present or for a milestone birthday. Each unique personalised word search is meticulously created and printed by hand using the highest quality materials. There are various options regarding finish, colours, sizes and framing and they can be hand-finished using 24ct gold leaf.
Each print is hand embossed, signed and dated before framing.

100 WORDS
Each word search contains up to 100 words. I can work with you on the suitability and type of words to include. It's amazing how many words you can think of when thinking about a person or subject close to your heart.
Depending on the subject, these are a few ideas of words to include:
Places – e.g. addresses, holiday destinations, honeymoon, wedding venue, birthplace, school, university
Events – e.g. memorable, funny, personal or embarrassing things where a word or a few words will trigger a memory
Dates – e.g. birthdays, wedding day, start date, leaving date
Interests – e.g. hobbies, sports, films, bands, particular song(s)
Nicknames
Friends
Pets
I can include numbers, punctuation and foreign characters. I normally put words in from left to right, horizontal, diagonal or running from top to bottom but I can also include ‘hidden’ words backwards that are harder to find. I can also include a background image such as a heart or logo.
It's also a lovely idea to ask family and friends to suggest words to include.
SILKSCREEN PRINT
These prints are silkscreen printed by hand on textured Fabriano Artistico Extra White acid-free 100% cotton fine art paper. This means you can choose to highlight the keyword(s) in any colour including neons, metallics, real silver leaf or even 24ct gold leaf. Please get in touch to ask about specific colours.
PEN AND PEN-HOLDER
The words can be circled on the glass using the dry-wipe pen supplied with each print. The 610x640mm and 800x800mm prints are also supplied with a unique powder-coated aluminium pen-holder.
FRAMING
Each print is framed in a handmade white contemporary frame. The print is mounted and backed using archival acid-free white core mount board and where needed, P70 conservation tape.
The 610x640mm is glazed using toughened glass to ensure safety in transit and when circling the words on the glass.
DIGITAL PROOF
A digital proof showing a mockup of how your framed print will look will be sent to confirm colours and layout. On your approval your artwork will be printed and framed.
POSTAGE & PACKING
Artwork is sent by courier on a next day service using bespoke packaging ensuring safety in transit.
